Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's most popular game service. For just a small fee, you can have access to more than 100 games, including all new Microsoft releases.
While it is hard to beat the price, a model like that also means there is a rotation in place, where, as new games enter the service, others have to leave.
Basically, you always have acess to more then 100 games, but never much more then that.
This months victims includes 2 excelent games. 3, if you like puzzles, in exchange for less exciting offerings. As the saying goes, we win some and lose some. And this month is a loss.
What do we get?
4 games are being added this month. While they aren't enought to compensate for the games that are leaving, they aren't bad either:
- The Wild at Heart - Not to be confused with Wild Hearts, this puzzle adventure game is certainly charming and cute. A very good game to play with your kids. Already available in the service.
- For Honor - Weirdly enough, the weekest of the 4. The game is good and managed to bounce back after the terrible launch, but it has been available for free so many times, it is hard to find someone who doesn't own it already. If you don't, it comes to the service on the 3rd.
- Darkest Dungeon - A classig of the roguelite genre. Not for everyone, but if you like it, you really like it. Turn-based, perma-death, super hard. It has everything you might want in a game of this type. Reaches the Game Pass platform on the 10th.
- Backbone - This one is a mystery. It hasn't been released yet. It will come to the Game Pass at the same date it releases, on the 8th.
What do we lose?
5 games leave the service on the 15th. You can have a 20% discount on them, if you already have Game Pass and want to keep any of them.
- Ace Combat 7 - The game only stayed on the service for 3 months. A very short stay that made the fans of war planes and air combat very happy. If that is up your alley, make sure to try it out before the 15th.
- Wizard of Legend - Probably my favorite roguelite in recent years. While the game lacks in content, the amazing combat and amount of skills make up for it.
- Night Call - A narrative based, detective game with a very interesting premise, but not that great of an execution.
- West of Dead - Another roguelite, with very good action. The art style alone is enough to give this game a try.
- Observation - Very interesting and unique sci-fi puzzle detective game. The controls can give you some trouble though.
And that finishes the summary of what goes and what comes in this month for Game Pass. If you want to check for more details, check out the official post, where you can get more information.
